Jack Carter's hypocrisy

I found it somewhat hypocritical when Jack Carter started getting all moralistic, attacking Glenda and kidnapping and murdering Margaret in cold blood (there were probably other reasons with Margaret as well) because they were performing in that porn film with his illegitimate daughter/niece, Doreen. He found it amusing when he was watching it, before he realised that it was Doreen. Also the organisation that he worked for gave the impression of being involved with vice. So presumably in his book the welfare of other people's nieces and daughter's appearing in porn films does not count.
