adults stand by while Zigra woman destroys Tokyo

Had to laugh in the scene where the parents of the kid stars are in the underwater UFO with the Zigra-possessed woman. She tells them she is about to subject Tokyo to an earthquake more powerful than any that has been experienced before and tens of thousands will die. Then she turns to the alien controls and the adults stand there and do nothing to try to stop her as she does it.
