I'm 15 and I aspire to be a writer/filmmaker. I want to write a novel (and probably make it into a film ) also called Fata Morgana and also taking place in the Sahara Desert. I never knew about this film until now. It's crazy, there's also another German film called like this and taking place in an African desert... Should I change the title?

Yes I think you should change the title.
Burdening yourself with a title already used about 8 times (and there are 2 actresses with this name!) will probably not help you. Dare to be original.

It's so funny to read this message now! To think that's how I discovered Herzog. I'm now fully focused on literature, which was always my main thing.
