Dear Mickeyrooneyfan,
I am also trying to get a copy of this classic.Need to confirm that what made me laugh hysterically one late night in the mid seventies wasn't just my imagination.

Memories of a "Great Movie" don't make a Movie GREAT! . Like me, you can purchase this "GREAT" movie on DVD & rejudge your evaluation. Not only is the 'enhancement' a bit lagging but "Evil Roy Slade" IMHO isn't as funny as most posters imply. Do yourself a favor & Don't buy a copy, just cherish your Memories as they are, not to mention that it's virtually Impossible to find NEW on DVD or VHS.
I'm not 'thrashing' the flick, just reminding you that most of our old black memory boxs aren't always 100%.

Just got the DVD from Amazon (8 bucks US) and no it is not as funny as it was when I saw it at 14...but still worth the time and minimal expense...."Kiss me darling, I've been ridin' hard and my lips are dry...."

I had been reading about this flick online (can't recall how I stumbled onto it) and wanted to see it, but was not having any luck finding it to watch or purchase online. Then last week, I saw it in my local Price Chopper supermarket for $3.99. What a coup! I snatched it up (OF COURSE) finally got to watch it and LOVED it!

It's currently available for $4.86 at Sam's Club.
