When the apes returned to Earths past, they should have met up with Brent and stopped him from going into space to find Taylor

Better yet, they could have offered Heston's agent a pile of cash to fully appear in Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Ditto for Kim Hunter's and Roddy McDowell's agents.
