UGH! Glad They Changed It

Below is from the trivia section. It describes a scene that was altered. (Thank The Universe)


For the death scene, Cornelius and Zira were originally going to be ripped apart by a pack of Doberman Pinchers (the feared dog from that decade) by Doctor Hasslein, but producers thought the scene would be far too gruesome, so they were killed by gunshots instead.

This would have been truly grotesque. This is one of the few times I'm glad a scene was deleted or changed.

I don't even know enough to know how much I don't know. Ya know?
