The Magic Treasure

Has anyone seen this on the DVD?

What do you guys think of it?

The Magic Treasure is reminiscent of the stop-motion short subjects of animator Jiri Trinka, and I believe that was David Allen's intention when he designed the characters before animating them. It's a cute story with very good sets and animatd model work, and I was especially impressed by the walking cycles of the giant (who bears a strange facial similarity to "Hans the Nestles Man" from those old chocolate comercials years ago). The puppets don't "talk" like Gumby and Pokey, because the narrator handles everything,

It was good work, but as an adult, I can say it's definitely geared for children's viewing.
