its been playing on showtime now in feb. iam watching it now and making
a copy on vhs.since making a copy i can type here.well if u have cable
get showtime and u will see it.

That well known online auction site that rhymes with "pay" :) usually has this on DVD-R if you watch for a couple of weeks. Sadly I have not seen a high quality transfer, most look like bad VHS copies.

AMC has shown this movie in the past. I taped it about 10 years ago. I remember Criterion was going to release a special edition of this about 4 years ago, it never happened.

I watched the one of the last 35mm prints last night. It's not in too bad of shape, some color faded and the tails and heads are a little banged up but overall pretty decent. Great movie to.

Yes Netflix has it,it's a two dvd set.As a matter of fact I have it right now from them but will be mailing both disks back tomorrow to them.The waiting list for this film was very long,I was surprised how many members of Netflix wanted to see it because I did'nt think allot of people had even heard of it.But it's nice to know that it does have a following and after watching this film you have to agree that Sam Raimi must have been inspired by it for his film The Evil Dead.

The Criterion Collection released a 2-disc DVD. I found it at Borders.
