Good movie, decent special effects and acting, horrible script

I stumbled upon this movie on Charter on Demand yesterday. After ten minutes I realized it was a dog overall, but I could not tear my eyes away. I thought I might miss the next stupidest line. Really, the movie was not bad. If any movie is a cult classic, this is it. Oh, and look for Herb Tarlek. This movie is worth watching over and over again. C'mon. A former Rose Parade queen is in it, too.

I thought the last 15 minutes were amazing. The acting, script and camera work were horrible, but the monsters and the whole concept of the barrier were awesome..
Worth seeing and enjoyable as long as you know it is a movie to have fun with.

Jack Woods had to polish a turd. Okay, not really a turd, but the original film needed a lot of work, and what Woods turned out with about 15 minutes of new scenes really made for a much better film.

I thought this film was quite enjoyable and impressive considering that it was initially done by enthusiastic amateurs for peanuts. I especially dug the funky stop-motion animation monsters and the forced perspective giant.

I've been chasing grace/ But grace ain't easy to find
