The only store I've seen the DVD for sale at is HMV, and the price is over 50 dollars. Huh?

You can get it for alot less on ebay and amazon.com.

$47.99 at Amazon.ca, and $35.99 at Amazon.com. It still seems over priced to me.

I hope the DVD doesn't go out of print before somebody decides to jack the price down.

Yeah, that can happen with Criterion releases, they get expensive. You can frequently find Equinox a good $20 cheaper on eBay, though. At the moment the average price on there, buy-it-now, is $25.

Criteriondvd.com has the best prices for criterions, I just got my copy from deepdiscount.com for 25.88.

It's usually available for about $25-$35 if you look around. Just be careful about buying it off of eBay -- there used to be a lot of pirated copies on there that should be avoided.

It's definitely worth the price -- it's a 2-disc set with a lot of great bonus materials. Criterion put a lot of care into this release. I highly recommend it.

I purchased my Criterion DVD for only twenty bucks at a 50% sale at a local Barnes & Noble in Central New Jersey.

If and When this goes outta print - douchebag sellers will be asking $100.00 and UP (way up?)
