It's one of those "so bad that it's good" flicks in my opinion. It would have been great to see MST3K do this movie, although I laugh my way through it, without any commentary, every time I see it.
It just blows my mind that it was originally intended to be a biker movie!

Actually it was always a horror film, but it initially had no Dracula or Frankenstein in it. There were bikers in it, but the main thrust of the movie was a mad doctor looking for a blood serum and all that, and the movie was considered so bad, even by B movie standards, that someone at the company, Independent International Pictures, thought they should junk it. Producer Sam Sherman came up with the idea of adding in Frankenstein and Dracula when Anthony Eisley said, "Dr. Durea, at least that's the name he uses." Then Sherman figured, "Who else could he be?," came up with the idea that he would be the last living member of the Frankenstein family, threw in Dracula as well, and the rest is drive-in movie history.

Me Three...NYUK, NYUK, NYUK!!!

The late night time might be for a rerun. Some networks run their horror films in a type of a loop, so if you miss it, you can see it again.

BTW, so far...a real hoot!

IT'S COMING ON AGAIN!!!

Wonderfully horrible movie I haven't seen in over thirty years. Back when we had no vcr and had to stay up and watch the horrible thing.

My sister and I sat there and during the climactic 'arms ripped off' bit, sis just deadpanned, he's got no arms, and all I could do was laugh.

This oddity was often confused by me with another movie that was Italian or Spanish or something, but this is the gem.

Finally learned to tell them apart. The one with Lon Chaney Jr and the 'little person' this is the one.

Airs on THIS on the 26th of this month!
