Oh, MAN, was that violent!!


Especially towards children. Scorpio, that is. I'll never forget that shot of a dead, naked 14-yo girl being hauled out by police like that, it was harrowing. And as for Scorpio smacking that boy on the school bus and generally threatening them...!

I've known of the Dirty Harry movies for years now, but just now was the first one I ever saw. I do admit that I like Callahan's witty comebacks about the "most powerful handgun in the world, and did he fire five or six shots", twice, I might add.

I can see why Clint Eastwood is such an action star as a result of this, and to think that the Scorpio sniper, Andrew Robinson, would go on to such memorable roles as Garak in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine!

One of the greatest villains i ever saw in film growing up, i used to swear he was an actual criminal let of the mental asylum just for the is role!!
