Looks like she was just knocked out cold by Scorpio's pistol-whip.....in the novel, just after Scorpio beat it out of the bus at the quarry, she was able to tell Callahan which way he went.

She appeared to be having some kind of seizure or maybe a heart attack; and then Scorpio knocked her out with his gun butt.

You can hear the bus driver still screaming in the next shot after she's knocked to the floor.
