Missing scene with Bond Theme

In my earliest copy of the movie, which I guess I recorded from TV in the 1990s, or maybe from VHS, when Bond was flying near the end to the sea oil rig, the Bond theme played while they talked and prepared on the plane. The current cut omits that. I understand from experts that the Bond theme was cut from most of those films to avoid royalties. Same in Thunderball when the plane was searching for Bond trapped in the underwater cavern.
The current video is 2h00m, same as stated here at IMDB. This is with the cut. I can't find a record of the longer cut.
Who else remembers that.
I erased that tape when I updated it, without realizing this. One of the errors made in collecting.
