Yes, yes please.

I would actually break down and buy a BluRay player if this made it to BluRay.
Until then i'm still protesting.

Haha, yes. One more horse and carrot lesson in obsolescence.

Personally i'm a VHS lover, but i do have an all-region DVD player for those few great films released after 2006 and those that didn't make it to Region 1.

I can only assume you have never seen a well produced Blu-Ray displayed on an HD television. Or you are partially blind.

Given that 2011 is the 40th anniversary of the release of The Devils, you never know if it turns up. Personally I doubt there will be a region 1 release any time soon, but a UK Region 2 might occur. Also Warners did allow Channel 4 to screen the uncut directors edition a few years back - so maybe they may allow a UK release. One can live in hope.

Channel 4, BBC, Channel 5 and Sky have all shown the 1971 UK cut. The 2004 director's cut has never been shown on TV.

Unfortunately this movie is too old to look good on Blu.
