'The Deserter' DVD RELEASE

Anybody, know where to purchase this on DVD?

As far as I know, The Deserter hasn't been released on DVD in the US. Amazon has a listing for a Region 4, Australia, DVD but it doesn't look to be of the highest quality. If you have a region-free DVD players, that could be an option.

If not, have to stick with the old MGM VHS tapes.

I picked up a DVD copy of this at the 99 cent store. it's coupled with another western entitled "Dead Aim".

This should be on DVD. How many years does it take? Meanwhile we're deluged with the worst junk on DVD every week.

It looks like it has been released through one of those Mill Creek DVD boxsets.

Not sure how the quality is, as I don't actually own the boxset, but I doubt it's anything to get really excited over.
