Excellent western

Plenty action and horse riding stunts which seems to have been forgotten in the few modern westerns that are made. I watched Chato's land and dawn rider 2012 version last night this made dawn rider seemed more like a cartoon compared to Chato's land.

Watching it now on this-TV. They have been playing a bunch of Michael Winner directed movies lately. It's been a long time since I've seen this one.

opening credits stands out looking great, according to the description on the dvd cover palance part is as a ruthless bad guy, so i was very surprised to find out that wasn't it at all, he was more like trying to tame the wild pack with him, and he was one of the few who showed some conscience, not to mention his amazing dialogue throughout while none to bronson, there is alot of buzz on this board about bronson but to me this was palance's movie. notice all main stars has been in the original twilight zone except palance who was in "twilight zone rod serlings lost classics" in 1994, and first time you see bronson meet his female companion about 45 min into the movie it reminded alot of his twilight zone appearance in the episode "two" which was later made into an amazing twilight zone radio drama. through the movie i was waiting with anticipation how things would be dealt with since the pack after chato wasn't all bad so after what happened to palance i lost interest in the movie and what looked like an amazing western was weakened by the end.

in the night she came walkin in with a suit on,
her ample bosom the buttons popped,
hit my eye to the floor i got knocked,
there her suit fell down,
by 6 o'clock i came around,
raised up but my jaw still on the ground,
as her blessed forms in glory by the mornin time.
