reviews surprised it is pro resistance?

Surprised by some of the comments here,of course the film is pro resistance,but it also is against the Gaullist myth that the majority were pro De Gaulle,many were indifferent or uncommited but many were pro German,pro fascist,Petain was popular for much of the war.
