Lee Van Cleef invented the Hawkman outfit 10 years before Buck Rogers!!!

I hate to say it, but it's now clear that Lee Van Cleef himself created the prototype for the Hawkman getup from the Buck Rogers television show. The shiny pleather, the fur add-on . . no doubt about it.
