Other movies like this...

Hey can anyone recommend any other movies
similar to this one, whether good or bad?

I know there's Skulls and Skulls 2, which
I think is based on Skull and Bones. There's
also National Treasure, which isn't quite
like Brotherhood of the Bell but it's about
freemasons. There's also Eyes Wide Shut and
Manchurian Candidate.

Can anyone name some more?

I'd like to see more films very similar to
this one but also any others that are related
like the ones i mentioned above.

If you're going to include National Treasure, you should also include The DaVinci Code. Also, there was an episode of the more modern Outer Limits that feature sort of a Secret Society where everyone was under mind control, and there were even officials out in the city that were part of the conspiracy.
Does anyone remember more of the details of this outer limits episode?
Also: The Colony, The Wicker Man, The Stepford Wives, Robin Hood.

And don't forget my favorite: "The Game" starring Michael Douglas

I would also recommend:
The Parallax View (1974) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071970

Also:
Conspiracy Theory
The Pelican Brief
Mercury Rising
Enemy of the State

The Brotherhood appeared to be based on the Freemasons.

There are a plethora of films related to Freemasons, Secret Societies

1. From Hell (2001) Johnny Depp. What was most interesting about this, was Depp starred in the film, and at the time, the Hughes Bros. were one of the hottest directors in Hollywood, having directed Dead Presidents and Menace II Society (the latter film making the Criterion Collection as an artistic salute), then they disappeared, until re-surfacing with post-apocalyptic film "Book of Eli" - and after this, Depp exploded into big budget stardom with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. it may have had more to do with the film being a flop at the box office, then it revealing the masons role in a conspiracy to protect a freemason conducting serial killing as a blood ritual

2. Manchurian Candidate (2004) already mentioned

3. National Treasure (2005) more a film to misdirect about Free Masonry and its true aims.

4. DaVinci Code

5. Angels and Demons (note the Dan Brown book about Free Masons, of course wasnt picked up as a movie)

6. Conspiracy of Silence (made for TV movie that was abruptly pulled, as it cast light on satanic sexual rituals, mind control and drug dealing with associates of the George H.W. Bush administration (Lawrence King, in particular). - this was so controversial, the actual TV guides that had it listed disappeared altogether, and it played only once in the UK - there is a badly damaged screener on YouTube. - highly recommended.

7. Prometheus - more about the Nephilim and Annunaki.

following list are films with Masonic references
1. Godfather III - 1981 Italian P2 scandal (Propaganda Due')
2. Imaganiarium of Doctor Parnassus - masonic imagery all over this - oddly enough last film appearance of Heath Ledger, who died under mysterious circumstances - reffrences to Roberto Calvi hung under Blackfriars Bridge.
3. Sherlock Holmes and the Game of Shadows - same as above, Masonic "sorcery" that is explained by Holmes later, but again Blackwood found hanging in Blackfriars Bridge positioning (echoing the Hangman Tarot Card)
4. The Man Who Would be King (1975, Sean Connery) - About Mercenary soldiers who convince Kafiristan (really Afghanistan) tribespeople that they are gods after discovering masonic symbols on religious artifacts. Retold many times in other forms like Road to El Dorado.

trivia
Paddy Chayefsky was a colleague of George C. Scott. Scott directed a film called Rage - in the film, Martin Sheen and Richard Basehart make a masonic handshake. Chayeksy directed Paint Your Wagon in 1969 (three years earlier) and references Freemasons, Rosicrucians? in the script and it didnt appear in the 1951 broadway play.

Revelation (2001) good film to find. this directly discusses Knights Templar and P2.

Rosewood (1997) again masonic symbolism everywhere in that film indicated Rosewood was doomed and not to be allowed to occur (this happened two years aftee a 2nd incident in Tulsa , Oklahoma (Black Wall Street was bombed and burned after a similar racially charged and dubious incident.
