42nd St. Rip off?

So I'm watching this film on TCM right now and some of the numbers in this are very, very similar to 42nd St. I know in the plot summary its the director's homage to Bubsy Berkeley's work but some of the dance numbers seem exactly the same. Anyone else think so?
