If you want Sony to release BLOOD AND LACE on DVD...

If you would like BLOOD AND LACE to be released on DVD, I urge everyone who reads this who wants this title and for the Midnite Movies series to continue as it should, write to Chris Franchino, who manages MGM catalog marketing, at [email protected] and David Bishop at [email protected] who heads the MGM DVD department at Sony.

Reisgeorge,
If you want this on DVD, try Hypnotic Video ( I forget the web site address but type in Hypnotic Video as a keyword search). I saw it on their web site a few months ago.

Thanks for the heads up. Will write to MGM right now. This is one of my fave movies and that is after squinting through 4th generation VHS boots.
a very underrated film and its user rating is pathetic showing the mentality of the typical IMDB Juliet Roberts fan.
Dont believe the rating..this film is brilliant.

I too would pay for an official dvd release. Superbly creepy film, one of many I want on disc.

I love the film-and Gloria Grahame's performance in it.

Of all the Midnite Movies titles that have yet to make it to DVD, this, along with The Town that Dreaded Sundown, is the one I'm the most interested in. I'd much rather see it as a single feature, though...

I sent an email to Synapse Films, they release cult classics, so i thought "what the hell"

i also requested Curtains and New Year's Evil

Keep pressuring 'em for a legit release. In the meantime, the bootleg from Midnight Video http://www.midnight1.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&; amp;products_id=239 is good quality, with the hammer murder intact. Picture's super-sharp, but I'll still buy a legit release if they'll ever get around to putting one out.
