In French, with English subtitles. Yet the Imdb says the film is in Italian. I suppose TCM obtained a French-language version of the film.

Standard rules of language preference in film don't apply with Rossellini, especially not by this point (and remember, IMDB is pretty terrible with these details) so don't jump to dismiss any seeming incongruity.

The main actors all spoke French and it was dubbed in French to be shown on French television. The Italian dub was for Italian television, but since most of the actors spoke French, that version appears to be the preferred version among those in the know. For what it's worth, the Criterion disc defaults to the French version as well. I just finished watching it and it seemed very natural. No complaints here.
