I saw a movie years ago about a poor family, I think only a father and a son or maybe 2 sons, who lived in a trailer or something. The boy(s) "finds" a white horse. It's not an English-language movie, I think it is Eastern-European. And there was something about a cave, beach, the horse runs along the beach... That's all I remember. I tried making a powersearch here on Imdb, but I can't find it. I would like to know what it is called and if it is possible to get it on DVD somewhere. Does anyone know?

Not sure if you ever check back for an answer but I believe the movie you're looking for is 'Into the West' with Gabriel Byrne as the father. It's an Irish movie; it's really very good. Even if it's not the movie you're looking for! The name of the horse is Tir Na Nog, which in Irish means the 'land of eternal youth'.

Yes, it was Into the West. I don't know why I thought it wasn't an English language movie, but that's (bad) memory for you... Thanks for the reply.
