Anyone else skeeved out by

The girl who had her bra cut off, and then Billy Jack comes up and chuckles, when she asks "are you going to look" Billy laughs again and says "probably" So back in the seventies sexual assault was played for laughs and it okay to get your kicks from a girl who is embarassed and defenseless.

Then there is also the scene with the girl who is supposedly 13 and she is seen completely naked.

You need to look up the definition of sexual assault.

Bernard's actions and behaviors towards the girl (cutting her bra off, etc.), were beyond repulsive, but I think that while Billy Jack took the girl's side, he was also kind of exasperated with the girl for having been stupid enough to get into the car with Bernard in the first place.

Sexual assault wasn't played for laughs in this film, and it started not to be back in the 1970's, however.

It's true that Billy Jack was even more pissed off at Bernard. Yet, in either case, while Billy Jack sided with both the girl who'd gotten in the car with Bernard, and the 13-year-old girl who Billy Jack found making out sexually with in a hotel on the edge of town, at the same time, he was also kind of exasperated with both of the girls: A) the girl who'd been stupid enough to get into the car with Bernard in the first place, and (B) the 13-year-old girl who'd been making out sexually with Bernard in the hotel in the first place, when Billy Jack told her, in somewhat exasperated tones, to get out of there.

Yes, but I was equally skeeved out by the scenes where the kids all sat around and sang these somewhat campy songs. The film Billy Jack could've/should've done without them.
