The villain got it easy

The bad guy that carried the machete got stabbed by John Wayne with a pitchfork. He got what he deserved. Richard Boone's character, the leader of a vicious gang of cold-blooded monsters, who killed women and children, got off easy. He got shot and that was it. I was hoping John Wayne would've finished him off nice and slow. When John Wayne hit him with the lantern, I was hoping he'd burn alive. That's what he deserved.
