Same house as Burial Ground

This film was actually shot in the same castle used in Andrea Bianchi's 1980 zombie film, "Le Notte del Terrore"(AKA "Burial Ground").

Yar! Good eye -- it's in a bunch of Italian thrillers. The stairways & exteriors are seen in "Horror Of Dr. Hitchcock", and the hallways are in "Web Of The Spider", and the whole house & grounds served as the location for the war film "Five For Hell", which also had Klaus Kinski & Margaret Lee. Many many more too. Hammer more or less did the same thing with Bray Manor in England, which served as the location and readymade studio/sets for all of their Gothic horror films up until 1967, when they moved to Pinewood. You get to know those staircases after a while. ;]

It's also the setting of the film "Patrick Lives Again!".

It was once owned by a rich Vatican priest. When he died, his relatives inherited it, and rented it out to film productions. That Catholic priest must have been flipping in his grave that they shot some seriously sleazy movies in his house over the years! LOL!

Today, it is supposedly an historic inn. Bet it costs a fortune to stay there.

Anyone know the location?

"Stink, stink, stink, Mr Murdock!"

I just finished watching this for the first time and I came here to see if this had been discussed before. I immediately had recognized the front of the castle from Burial Ground: The Nights if Terror. Too bad there was no Mr Peter Bark though. Lol

I’m definitely not used to Di Leo directing in this genre after seeing so many of his excellent euro crime films. This is a strange one, no doubt. And my God! Rosella Neri is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.

One question: What kind of asylum for deranged and suicidal women has so many dangerous weapons just lying around all over the place?
