Scant love for this?

I love this movie. I recall seeing it on TV when I was a kid in the 70's and was shocked when I came across it in a DVD bargain bin.

There is a charm to this that gets even more acute on repeated viewings. The familial relationships, the relationship with the solider, Allan, and the general offbeat nature of the sisters, all add depth to what would otherwise be a pure exploitation affair.

I love the beginning theme music against the tight orange sky- very early 70's vibe.

Agreed. I love Beryl Reid in anything - she's brilliant. Can't believe this only gets a 4.4! I'd expect a 6 or something, but 4.4 is really low.

If I hadn't have already seen this, I wouldn't have sought it out having found its imdb page. Maybe I should give some of those other low scoring 70s Brit horrors a try after all...
