I'm watching the full, unedited version of the 1971 film (Netflix must have shown the edited version) and I am wondering if anyone here has watched the 2008 mini series and how you rate it compared to the original. IMBD rates original at 7.2 and 2008 mini series as 6.2.
shareI have not seen it anywhere on streaming ... Amazon or Hulu. When I had NetFlix I never saw it there either. I did watch the goofy show called "The Strain" ... ugh! I thought the 1971 movie was pretty good and I had read the book. The movie was kind of cold and clinical, not a good story of characters, more of a trying keep up with the book. I imagine, or I would hope that the miniseries would have tried to improve on that.
shareActually, the first episode of the Strain was pretty good, but I lost interest soon thereafter. I'm going to have to find the mini series for Andromeda Strain...
