Just saw this on Channel 4. The line - 'He's a little chunky...about 45...fag.'
which I distinctly remember from the time I last saw it has been censored. The last word has been redacted. How sad!

Just saw it on TCM and it was there!!
Just been shown on More4 and I noticed the "fag" removed too. It was a big laugh at the time - I didn't think it was particularly anti-gay, after all Connery's character is hardly distant from Balsam's in the film, they are great pals and very sympathetic and respectful to each other. Rather it was just a mild joke from the less than intelligent doorman that the description could be given so matter of factly without bothering about offence. I agree the censorship is silly and unnecessary.
