HELP with the translation of 'The Funniest Joke in the World'

I'm doing a presentation for a class on "The funniest joke in the world." I tried translating it with Alta Vista's Babel fish and it shot out a bunch of gibberish (which it often does). I was wondering if anyone knew the translation, or if it is just jibberish, which really wouldn't surprise me considering the source.

Thanks, here's the joke.

Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer? Ja!... Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput!

Hell of a thing, killin' a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

Well, according to the "trivia" link on the left side of the main page, it means: "If that is git only stucco and Slotermeyer? Yes! Celebration dog that or the Flipperwaldt gersput!"
So pretty much just gibberish.

well it makes perfect sense to me
but i'm not like most people

though their german got better when they made the german episode in bavaria.
