Just awesome

I wouldn't compare this film to the TV show or any of the other Python movies they are all excellent in their own way..
What is great about ANFSMD... If you have a DVD copy of it. It not only looks wonderful quality speaking. But the length of it and how it just flows and no laughing track which makes it even more abstract . To me it's genius all the way through. This film was I believe mainly done for US audiences. Since the show wasn't shown in the US ( yet )

Also the TV show quality is mainly video tape so this film compared to the video is stunning in being wide screen and what looks like 35mm ... And for 90 minutes they picked the best sketches they could. It never grows old or dated. The DVD reissue made it look even better that when it was converted to VHS back in the day.
