he's in the movie 100%! it's his story, his music, and his direction completely. can't see why this isn't for his fans just because he's not physically in front of the camera much...
that said, I used to hate this film... always loved the Mothers, but never like post-Mothers Frank at all.. and I'm a huge Turtles/Flo & Eddie fan! So, I finally re-watched it last week and totally dug it! Plus! I wasn't high! Weirdly layered, jokes all over the place and really vicious social commentary! It's more folk art/outsider art than it is straight up "art film", but holds its own well.
