It was on BBC 2 last night

Anyone here watch it?

reply

Yup!

Not for the first time either...And it was still quite chilling.

reply

Yeah, it was very creepy

reply

me too. Second time I've seen it and I was even more creeped out than the first. The acting is incredible.

reply

I've never liked Richard Attenborough because this is the first time I'd seen him in a film. Just shows his power as an actor!!

reply

He was always better as a baddie. If you've not seen Brighton Rock you ought to!

reply

And it's on again tonight.

(Showing as a tribute to John Hurt)

reply

Yes first time I've seen it in HD. I haven't seen it in years, great acting by both Hurt and Attenborough.

reply

saw it back then and recorded it, what a great underrated film!

BBC2 showed it again last night. I had previously rated it 8/10. But now I've given it 9/10. Uncomfortable viewing but it's such a good film.

reply

Yep I noticed it on the Sky guide, John Hurt was good along with old Attenborough. I'll need to give it a rewatch sometime.

reply

Do rewatch it. I could hardly look at the John Hurt scene. You probably know the one I mean. Like I say, it is an uncomfortable watch.

reply

Will do, Yep i know what you mean. 👍
