Which episode was your favourite?

I liked the Anne Boleyn or Catherine of Aragon one best.

There were parts of each episode that I liked. I did like the fact that in Catherine of Aragon's episode we saw her life under Henry VII (many productions just focus on her time married to Henry VIII and not her time as Arthur's widow). I liked that they focused on Anne's time as queen and her downfall in her episode (although I would have liked to have seen her relationship with Henry prior to their marriage). The Jane Seymour episode was ok and it did highlight Jane's conservatism (but I really hated all the weird sequences where Jane is hallucinating; the music in the back ground was really poor!).

I wasn’t keen on Anne of Cleves episode as I felt it dragged on for a bit. It was nice though focusing more on her, because usually she is overlooked. The Katherine Howard one was ok, and I liked parts of the Katherine Parr one, including the whole plot to overthrow her by the conservatives and her involvement in religion that got Henry angry.

Elvi Hale saves this by her vivid portrayal as Anne but my thinking is this might be the dullest and lowest rated of the series .
Mollie Sugden added a bit of humor in a scene chewing role as 'Lotte ' Anne's personal maid 'You must protect your complexion against the English wedder ' lol

Catherine of Aragon. Excellent performance. Historically accurate as she was a tough nut to crack.

In general, the first three episodes are better than the other three. I think that Jane Seymour is the best, closely followed by Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn. Catherine Parr is also first-rate, while Anne of Cleves and Catherine Howard are slightly weaker than the rest.

Catherine Howard, Anne Boleyn, Anne of Cleves, and Catherine Parr are all about equal in my book. Excellent episodes. Jane Seymour was a little weaker than those four but still an okay episode. Catherine Howard was easily the weakest episode of the series due to the woeful miscasting of Angela Pleasance and a poor performance by Patrick Troughton.

I am rather partial to the Anne Of Cleves episode. Some excellent political intrigue and manuevering by all parties involved.

I loved the whole series! But my faves..

1. Catherine Howard
2. Catherine Parr
3. Anne of Cleves

However Anne Boleyn is my favorite wife!

I think I like the first three in order, followed by the last one. The fourth one, Anne of Cleves, is rather boring.

Catherine Howard I think is most entertaining. Strong plot then the others. Even those who are not into The Tudors as a whole seemed to enjoy that one.

Anne Boleyn and Catherine of Aragon I enjoyed 2nd (tied) best. Both stories wear very rich, particularly Catherine.

Anne of Cleves the most boring, Catherine Parr and Jane wear good for the most part but run pretty dull at their respective points.

"Jane Seymour" was my favorite, followed by "Anne of Cleves". This episode made me see how clever Anne was to get out of the marriage, and still keep the king's respect.
