Mr. Dick Van Dyke for a Kennedy Center Honor Award!

Over the last couple of years we've been wondering about the fact that Mr. Dick Van Dyke has never been nominated for a Kennedy Center Honor Award... Don’t you think that nomination’s a bit overdue too?

We looked into that matter, and found out that the public actually can't do anything about it... Or can we? ;-)

Our idea is to gather as many supporters for our petition, then to get in touch with the former honorees who do have the clout to nominate our fave... We started a discrete letter campaign and asked those honorees to nominate A Man Who REALLY deserves the award for all his achievements.

Now how does one convince former honorees better than with a substantial backup from fans, friends and acquaintances who adore the man? Perhaps that petition showing our full support - and out there for everyone to read - would do the trick?
