NEW Dick Van Dyke Show on DVD ?
Does anyone know if and when The NEW Dick Van Dyke Show (with Hope Lange) will be released on DVD.
share I don't know when it will come out on DVD, but I figure it HAS to come out eventually. I mean, when you consider the junk that IS out, or is ABOUT to come out.
The Captain and Tenille's failed 1970s variety show is out on DVD. 'Joey' is out on DVD. I mean, if that stuff is out, why NOT release the moderately successful 'New Dick Van Dyke Show?'
Or Hope's other series -- and my fave, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir?

And you're right - WHV's Warner Archive Series has already released such short-lived shows of theirs (or ones Warner Bros. Television has distributed) such as The Jimmy Stewart Show and Nichols on DVD. So, indeed, why not The New Dick Van Dyke Show?
Go to www.thewbshop.com, go to the comments section, and tell WHV you'd like them to release The New Dick Van Dyke Show on DVD as part of their Warner Archive Series. And although you shouldn't expect a response, I was told they do read all suggestions.
