I want the "Longstreet" series released so I can get the Bruce Lee episodes, which were fantastic! Does anybody have them available? For your information, the Bruce Lee documentary "The Intercepting Fist" had scenes from "Longstreet" showing Bruce Lee's fighting skills. Unfortunately, there is very little shown except for some clips.

shareApparently, "Longstreet" is available on DVD, but overseas. It is listed at <http://www.cdjapan.co.jp>; but it is NOT Region 1 (NTSC). Thus, you have to get it converted or have a multi-regional DVD player.
shareI just went looking. Found the site OK, but put in Longstreet for a search term and got 'no match'. Sigh! I'd love to have the whole series on DVD. I occasionally run into other people who were fans (a surprising number, really), and for a show that was on so long ago, we're always amazed at how much detail we remember from it. This was a very special series.

I remember four episodes that had Bruce Lee in them.
The first, "The Way of the Intercepting Fist", was also the first episode in the series. It was probably the best because Bruce Lee and his jeet kune do philosophies were given center stage.
The second had Longstreet having to defuse a bomb. It starts with him working out with Bruce Lee who was now and on-again off-again main character.
In the third, Longstreet's secretary is kidnapped. In the climatic scene, Bruce Lee comes to the rescue and "disposes" of the bad guy.
The final one only had a brief scene of Longstreet working out with Bruce Lee. The plot was about Longstreet's seeing-eye dog being stabbed (or shot).
Also, after the Green Hornet, Bruce Lee also guest-starred in the series "Here Comes The Brides" and "Blondie".
I have just bought two DVDs of all the LONGSTREET DVD that has all the four Bruce Lee episodes that Lee guest starred in:"The Way of The Intercepting Fist", "Wednesday's Child","I See,Said The Blind Man" and "Spell Legacy Like Death". All the episodes are beautifully remastered,complete and uncut without commercials in Dolby Digital Stereo and they look absolutely great! Each of the 2 DVDs have two of the 4 Bruce Lee LONGSTREET episodes,plus Bruce lee's other TV appearances in a IRONSIDE and HERE COMES THE BRIDES TV episodes as well. .These DVD releases are Region 1 US DVD release by a video company called BONSAI Video and are $9.99 for each DVD.I bought them in Manhattan,New York City in a regular video store(they are not available either in BEST BUY, AMAZON, WALMART or TARGET)

You can find these Bruce Lee-Longstreet DVDs on video stores on 14th Street,corner of 6th Avenue,in Manhattan,NYC,especially at Entertainment Outlet or a porn video store that is right next to Entertainment Outlet.
