A BIT OF TRIVIA

Trivia about the show.................

1. The opening sequence was filmed on location at Six Flags Over Texas.

2. Was filmed on videotape and was shot live(instead of having it shot on film liked the earlier Krofft productions--see H.R. Pufnstuf)

3. The series "Lidsville",aired on ABC-TV and was shown on Saturday Mornings from September of 1971 until September of 1972. Only 18 episodes were made of the series.

4. "Lidsville" starred Butch Patrick, whom was fondly remembered as Fred Gwynne's son Eddie on the 1960's comedy series "The Munsters". The series also starred Charles Nelson Reilly.

5. The show was such a hit that the producers were making plans to come out with a live-action full length feature film of the same title starring Butch Patrick and Charles Nelson Reilly. The movie was the produced and released by Paramount Pictures for a 1971 release. However, production of the movie never got made and the project for this was dismissed.

6. I wonder what Butch Patrick is doing these days?

In the dvd commentary, S&M mentioned that CNR HATED doing this character! If you watch Match Game, the few times anyone mentioned Lidsville, CNR wasn't happy about it.

BOYCOTT ALL HOLLYWOOD REMAKES.
