I thought this show was awsome when I was a kid.

What was I thinking?

I too remember this show vividity since it came on right after H.R. Pufnstuf.

It ran on Saturday Mornings on NBC-TV from 1971 until 1973,with repeated episodes that aired on ABC-TV during the summer of 1973(June through August).

It starred none other than actor Butch Patrick........who would always be remembered as Fred Gwynne's wolfish son Eddie from the 1960's TV series The Munsters co-starring Yvonne DeCarlo and Al Lewis(who played the grandfather).

Butch Patrick starred in a another psychedelic kid-like show.....this one went straight into the theatres called "The Phantom Tollbooth",directed by Chuck Jones. Its out on DVD or Video if you see it. Was released in 1969 by MGM.

"Lidsville" was so popular in its heyday, that producers Sid and Marty Krofft decided to launch a full-length theatrical feature film based on this show, starring Butch Patrick and released theatrically through Paramount Pictures. The project never got off the ground. It never got made since "Lidsville" ran for one season anyway.

They did this with "H.R. Pufnstuf" in 1970. That was released theatrically through Universal Pictures and starred Jack Wild and Cass Elliott.

I too thought this show was awesome when I was a kid. I was 8, going on 9 when this show premiered on ABC. I thought it was a fun follow-up to the Bugaloos and H.R. Pufnstuf. I loved the Sid and Marty Krofft shows. And for all you out there who get some drug overtones to the show, all I can say is, GET A LIFE!

Loved this show as a kid all those 70s kids shows

I loved this show when I was a kid. Totally weird and wacky! I liked that it was the same kid from the Munsters playing Mark. The only part I wasn't completely loving was Billie Hayes playing a weak ( in my opinion) character, Weenie The Genie. She is so over the top as Witcheepoo, I can't embrace her here.
