clap for the wolfman

the song clap for the wolfman by "the guess who" which also happens to be a canadian band, has a background voice of a wolfman, which sounds very similar to that of the wolfman on The Hilarious House of Frightenstein. DOes anyone know if this was done intentionally?

It was actually a tribute to DJ Wolfman Jack. He was the voice on the song.

It was actually Cummings doing the voice on that song. He considered himself quite the impersonator, if anyone remembers his "comedy" special on 'Superchannel', where he did Chubby Checker,etc.. . I'm sure he's had all the masters burned. :)

reply

ya, cummings was an impersonator but it was indeed the real wolfman jack on that song...he even toured with the band

reply

Sorry, wasn't aware of that. Thanx!
