Go to www.televisionshowsondvd.com , register, look up Hilarious House of Frightenstein, and vote to have it put on DVD! The more people that vote, the better the chances of reviving this long-lost classic.

Oh I better vote... cause I would love this show on DVD. It's one of my favourites of all time. :)

Unfortunately it hsa been said by Riff Markowitz (porducer of Hilarious House) that “it is true that all broadcast tapes of Frightenstein have been erased”. So any possibility of this show ever seeing the light of day is slim. If you go to www.frightenstein.com you can read all about the show. And something about a company being offered the full series. Thats the information given.

This show is available on DVD on ebay...it runs accross often in 3 or 4 parts, just search for the title. All parts together create the series in it's entirety if I'm not mistaken. I would like to see it available through a movie rental service though.

The 3 or 4 'dvds' on ebay are not the complete series..they only have 1 episode each, transfered from old vhs.
there were 130 episodes produced by CH11 TV & "The Markowitz Corp" in Canada.

As a lazy kid I used to get up at 5:30 AM during the summer just to watch this show on the cbc, one of the best shows ever from childhood, no doubt about it!

I have a few episodes on VHS. I guess the show ran on Showcase for a while. Pretty good quality too...if only I had a way to transfer them...

volume 1 is out. it has half hour versions of 4 of the episodes but they made it sound like if they can sell them they will come out with the full hour long ones. buy copies for all your friends :)

Geeze louise how lazy/blind are you people????? There's a link right here from IMDB to amazon.ca that shows you HHOF is for sale on DVD already. Come on, people. Get with it.
