Do you remember...?

Does anybody remember the song/video that started, "I Like Fish Food--You Do Too" (Don't look now, your hair is blue)? It was a nonsense song made up of words from signs (including traffic signs) that you might see around a city. I think I remember seeing it on "The Electric Company."

I'd like to know:
-whether this was made by "The Electric Co."/CTW
-if the words are out there, somewhere.

Thanks!

A few years ago, the Noggin network was airing the show. I wish they still did.

I AGREE!! I thought Noggin was supposed to be primarily a CTW network....so what are they doing showing episodes of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"??

BRING BACK OUR CLASSIC CTW SHOWS!!

OK how about this for a childhood memory. Does anybody remember the little cartoon puppet chicken, that the other cast members would sometimes talk to. I think his/her name was Lorelei and the voice sounded a little like Carol Channing. It was a character simlar to Cool Cat ( if anybody can remember him), a special form of animation where the joints of the puppet were created by using hinges, but I forgot what it was called.

reply

It is called stop-motion.

Speaking of which,

Does anyone remember a blue stop-motipon character in the show?
He is made out of clay.

I remember the skit where he wrote on some sort of easel "ow", as in the "cow" and "now".

Does anyone remember that character?
Here is another clue, he wrote on an easel.

It looks like I'm the only one who remembers him.

I think Lorelei was a chicken.

His name was "Clayton." He appeared late in the show's life.

Clayton was the guy's name? Are you sure? If so thanks.

I remember that odd part at the ending of each show for a couple years. The segment was called "Love Of Chair" was a guy in an empty room with a wooden chair and an announcer narrating with a soap opera type dialog. never really understood the segment to this day. Hope to see the series again as I have not seen it since the original run.

I didn't get it either, but it was explained on Wikipedia:

Love of Chair
Spoof of the soap opera Love of Life about a boy (Skip Hinnant) sitting on a chair. Announcer Ken Roberts (who, appropriately enough, was also the announcer for Love of Life) read the day's story, told in the style of the old Dick and Jane primers, with questions asked at the end in a dramatic tone.

Was there a segement where Morgan Freeman was in a dark room and he sat in a chair and told a scary story?

I can't figure out if this is something that I imagined or if it really was on Electric Company.
