Does anyone remember this character being on the show

As a child (probably in the late 70's or very early 80S)I saw a an episode of a live action children's show that had a villain named Sourpuss. He was a fat red haired bearded guy in an orange catsuit. He would go around making things taste sour.He also, interjected cat noises in his speech. A female superhero ( who was dressed in a shiny silver costume)defeated him by turning his power against him , so that he had a sour taste in his mouth.

I thought that perhaps on Captain Kangaroo or the Electric Company but I can't find any mention of the character in those shows.

This may have been a one-shot character, I am not sure

If you can't find any mention of him on TEC then he probably wasn't on the show.

In the meantime how about typing up the show and see what the show was about and who was on it and who was not.

Graz there's nothing to it.

I've typed up TEC original PBS series (full title) and you can easily find a write up with history, including this site and if this character isn't listed then chances are he never was on the show.

Also considering TEC was a reading series I can't see how he'd fit into such a format.

No, I don't remember such a character being on "The Electric Company." Fortunately.
