that Frank Cannon had a wife and child ( son or daughter ? ) when he was still working as a police officer ? ( I read this on the MeTV Website ) . I just started watching this show a few months ago on the MeTV Channel and haven't seen every episode of this show either . If it is true was there ever an episode where they showed a picture of his wife and child and what were their names ?
shareThat went back to the original Cannon pilot episode. His wife and daughter - I believe the child was a daughter - were killed and in the finale episode Cannon caught their killer, a corrupt politician. That killer then killed himself when a tearful Frank Cannon confronted him about it all.

Wow that seems like a deep and sad episode but a good one . I don't think I ever saw the original pilot episode ( I wished I had seen it ) . I only just recently started watching CANNON episodes on the channel MeTV . Thanks so much Moviegoer Dan for your reply .

I would like to know why they haven't shown the episodes for final season. Not a huge difference, except they have a short preview of each episode during the opening credits.
It looks like they won't be showing the 5th season episodes when the 4th season ends on Wednesday, the cable guide shows them starting at episode 1 on Thursday.
shareThe Nightmare episode answered a big question about the deaths of Cannon's wife and son. A lot of sources say that they were killed in a car accident...not true! They died in the explosion of the apartment that they were living in (Frank was not home at the time). It was a case of mistaken identity...the hit man who planted the bomb meant it for the apartment's previous tenant, a 'lady of the evening' who was blackmailing the Senator who hired the hit man.
