A good show that got a raw deal

1971-72 was my senior year in high school so this show brings back memories. The show ran on Sunday nights, so it was watch it and go to bed. A good way to close out the weekend. After not seeing these in 40 years I managed to find 16 episodes that someone copied off of TVLand a few years back.

This series hit home from the very start since I'm from Arizona. The scenery looks so much like New Mexico which I've been to many times. With many appearances by Hispanics and Native Americans made it quite authentic.

After the 'rural purge' by CBS in 1971 I wasn't much into sitcoms anymore. Shows like this fit the bill just fine.
