Ah.Sally Geeson..
And,yes,I often enjoy watching this.I sometimes think that Sid James was a bit rough in his treatment of some of the other actors.

I know Robin Stewart wasn't in the movie because of timekeeping problems-think I read it in the autobiography of the feller who took the
role of the son in the movie-Robin Askwith-who was in an episode of House.
Sid seemed a bit too rough when he said 'I'll MURDER him' all the time, and a bit too physical with some other actors.Mind you,it WAS Sid who did the hanging-from-the-loft stunt in the photography episode.

Oh come on, "I'll MURDER him" seems quite normal father-and-son banter to me, especially coming from a Cockney!!!

Bless This House is amazing! I can watch it everytime on Paramount 2, even though the episodes seem to be repeated on a rolling basis! Frozen limit - the one about the freezer - is the absolute Best episode ever! [IMO] The bedroom scene between Sid and Jean when the street lights go out is magic!
Anyway - I wondered about Mike too. If you click on Robin Stewart from any of the episodes, it does say about a French horror movie he has done recently [I think].

You're right, I see Bless This House every day on Paramount and it's brilliant. Sid James especially just makes me laugh without even opening his mouth. I remember this series going out in the 70s but I was a teen then and didn't really watch it properly. My fave episodes: Probably the Freezer one which was on today, plus the snake. The worst were probably the ones with the squatters and the intruder played by Tony Selby.
It was sad when Sid died and I noticed it was just after the last Bless this House was shown in April 1976. Does anyone know if they made anymore episodes but didn't show them, or was it just coincidence?

I agree with you philipmartin2, Sid James was a funny actor and it is a shame that now he is no longer with us. It makes me laugh when he laughs because i think he has an excellent laugh.

I wonder that, about Robin - though Sally lived with William G Stewart in the 70's - 80's, (In the sense of lovers, yes!) not with him now. He's actually the father of Alistair Stewart, the TV News presenter who also fronts 'Police Camera, Action'.

Robin Stewart emigrated to Austrailia, and played an evil doctor in "Sons, and Daughters" in the 80's. But I have no recent information.
