Only 13 episodes?

Surprised to see there were only 13 episodes of this show made.

Irish TV must have repeated the entire series around 4 or 5 times in my youth as it seemed to be on a lot!

Yes, only 13 episodes. In the United States it aired opposite The Flip Wilson Show and Alias Smith and Jones, both of which were popular at the time. As a result Bearcats didn't stand a chance. Too bad, I thought it was an excellent show.

Wish there had been more episodes. I loved it.

I haven't seen it since it was shown in the 70's in Ireland.

Not many people I know from home remember the Bearcats, maybe Irish TV should have shown it a few more times....

It looks like there's a strong BEARCATS! fan force from Ireland here! I can tell you that living in Castleconnell, Co Limerick in 1972 was exactly like being in an episode of BEARCATS!. I knew a fellow called Johnny AND trains often went past our house. My Dad had a whole book of blank cheques, and we even owned a car. Beat that, you American fans!

Castleconnell - I know it well.

I remember it being shown Saturday mornings, maybe before or after Anything goes?Great show.Certainly must have been repeated a lot as I'm sure it was shown well into the 80s.
