Looking for Beachcombers on VHS or DVD

Does anybody have a Beachcombers collection? I have the episodes that TV Land aired until dropping it this year. It was only a couple seasons around 1985. Would love to trade or come up with some other arrangement if somebody is interested.

Thanks-Dale

does this tv series involve a tugboat or fishing boat of some kind in the opening credits?

reply

Yes ... the first opening credits included a shot of the Persephone, a log salvage boat, pulling a large log off the beach at a location near Gibsons BC.

my friend and I have been trying to look for this Tv show till we saw it on the IMDB message board like this. Do you have any episodes on VHS or DVD of the early episodes from the first 3 seasons only? we would be very interested if you have.

reply

the children on danger bay, were johan and nicole.

have you tried going to cbc.ca, they might have dvd's, relating to the series, as it ran on that network..

I would also try putting an ad on the site IOFFER. I have put ads on IOFFER myself looking for rare films and TV shows that are hard to find and have succeeded a little bit.

Give it a try. You never know. You just might get the entire series on DVD or whatever season(s) you are looking for.

I am thinking of putting an ad on IOFFER looking for this series myself. I watched a few of these episodes when I was a kid myself here in the USA on CBLT Channel 5, whenever I could get Channel 5 to come in. I would love to revisit this TV show again.

Again, give it a try. You never know.
