They were probably a steak and potatoes family.

There were episodes where they ate spaghetti and had other Italian food such as pizza. They even had Chinese. Archie's big hang up was over fish. But for the most part they had the basic meat and potatoes dinner. Even Meathead was enthusiastic about the traditional food even though if the show was going today he would probably frown on meat.

I’m watching the episode right now about the butcher who likes Edith and they are having spaghetti for supper.

In the story arc when Archie was on strike/out of work, they mentioned having spaghetti several times a week, because they couldn't afford meat.

Other than that, I agree that they were a "meat & potatoes" family. Edith mentions cooking stew several times.
